Blu-ray release
There has not been an official Blu-ray release of Spider-Man: The Animated Series. However, one company, ToonDVDs, has released an unofficial "bootleg" Blu-ray that comes in slick packaging that looks as good as a commercial release. This WILL play on American Blu-ray players. My guess is that it's mastered from the official UK DVD release of the series, so the quality is probably excellent - but I don't own it and that is just a guess. Keep in mind that the series originally was not made in High Definition, so "Blu-ray quality" is only going to go so far, even in the best of circumstances. I can't officially endorse this product, because it is possibly being sold illegally. I'm just letting you know that it exists. Click on the picture below to go to ToonDVDs.
