The talented voice cast of Spider-Man: The Animated Series in 1994 - From Left to Right: (Rear) Patrick Labyorteaux ("Flash Thompson"), Jennifer Hale ("Felicia Hardy"), Bob Richardson (Supervising Producer), John Semper Jr. (Producer/Head Writer), Christopher Daniel Barnes ("Peter Parker/Spider-Man"), Saratoga Ballantine ("Mary Jane Watson") - (Front) Gregg Berger ("Mysterio" and "Kraven the Hunter"), Gary Imhoff ("Harry Osborn/The Green Goblin").

Spider-Man: The Animated Series brought to you by, from left to right: John Cawley (Coordinating Producer), Dennis Venizelos (Art Director), John Semper (Producer/Head Writer), Stan Lee ("the Man"), Bob Richardson (Supervising Producer). This was taken at the very start of production circa 1994. They produced 65 half hours (the longest running animated Spider-Man series ever), and it was the number one show for kids in the U.S!

Here's an extremely rare photo from John Semper Jr.'s private collection. This is how a typical Spider-Man: TAS recording session began -- early in the morning, with everybody gathered in the "green room," the lounge just outside of the recording studio. Most would be trying to wake up enough to tackle that day's dramatic script. Coffee, fruit, donuts and bagels were readily available, courtesy of the studio staff. Stories were told back and forth. Jokes were shared and laughs were plentiful. And after you do this over and over again for several years, lifelong friendships are made. From left to right: Lindy Gary ("Aunt May") massages the back of Jennifer Hale ("Felicia Hardy"). Chris Barnes ("Peter Parker/Spider-Man") listens to a story being told. Next to him is Liz Georges ("Debra Whitman") who's almost asleep, Nick Jameson ("Michael Morbius") who's very alert, Maxwell Caulfield ("Alistair Smythe") who's catching up on his reading and Patrick Labyorteaux ("Flash Thompson"), who is telling the story.

Here's Christopher Daniel Barnes at work in the recording studio in 1995, performing the voice of Spider-Man in these never-before-seen photos from John Semper Jr.'s private collection! Look at the intensity he pours into his role.

Here's a great, rare, never-before-published shot in the recording studio of the late, great EFREM ZIMBALIST JR, as he is performing the voice of DOCTOR OCTOPUS for Spider-Man: The Animated Series!
